'Tis the Season

Is there anything more fun than hosting theme parties during the holidays?! I personally love to host a cookie exchange party every year. I mean, who doesn't love a good cookie mix? With the holiday season, and parties, comes the decorating. Here are some of my tips for decorating your home for the holidays.

Pick a color scheme.

There are so many different options to choose. I personally lean toward the traditional Red and Green and pepper in Gold and Silver. Since red and green are contrasting colors, they really make your decorations stand out even more.

Have fun!

Don't stress over your decor, just have fun. I like to decorate for what makes me happy. After all, it is my house. I want to feel excited when I walk in my home so I use colors and patterns that I know will make me smile when I see them.
